Come ti chiami? || #LechugaTravels

Heyyo fellow blog readers!

How's it going? How've ya been? Hopefully lovely and feeling...grin? Well I tried...

Anyways, today we had a Survival Italian Class! Where we learned the basics of speaking Italian. I was doing great and I was feeling optimistic learning to say "Mi chiamo Romane`" but as soon as we got to "Dov'e sei?" I started getting lost...and don't even ask me about the directions. Or so I thought. I thought I wasn't learning much but later on this class proved veeery helpful.

  Italian 101

After class I actually do not remember what we did, I'm sure we had food. That's what we usually do. We eat.

Yes we ate at our favorite panino shop--the lady there is super nice and her paninis are delicious!
So fresh!

Fanta is good, but this is better.

Then we headed to the Trevi Fountain, which was actually slightly tragic to see as it was not filled with water. It is currently under construction so if you're planning to go to Italy....don't. I still made a wish though because...well ya never know--the Lizzie McGuire Movie could happen...haha.

Why is this a thing? I mean I love One Direction as much as the next chica on the block but, seriously? Seriously? SERIOUSLY?! (5points if you get that reference)

We got lost going to the Spanish Steps and trying to find the Pantheon so it was a good thing we learned how to ask for directions because we knew the word "left" and going "left" seemed to be a common direction given to us.

 Trevi Fountain under construction...sad face.

Then we got some gelato!

 The Spanish Steps!

Truthfully and slightly stupidly I do not know what this is. Does someone know?

Anyways, that was my day mostly. We, as in my roommates and me, stopped in some stores and looked around but we mostly just walked around. It was nice. And you know, just because the Trevi Fountain is under construction doesn't mean it isn't beautiful. Sometimes we all need our days to get ourselves together and the Trevi Fountain is having...well is having one of those years but nonetheless.

So until next time,

Laytah!!
